To Validate Topology

  1. Place a fence around the target topology.
  2. From the Topology Creation toolbox, select the Validate Topology tool.
  3. Enter a data point with the fence.

    The topology is validated. If failures are found, text elements are written to the active level. For each failure, a line is drawn from the origin of the text to the text message to the failed element. A results window opens to show the number of areas, boundaries, and centroids found.
